Hi everyone! My name is Ashley Farren and I am your certified professional trainer (CPDT-KA).
I built Ashley's Animal Academy, LLC out of a passion and commitment to animal behavior and education that began when I was very young.
For 5 years, Ashley's Animal Academy, LLC operated as a full scale pet-sitting, dog walking and training business in Chester County that won several local accolades and recognitions. In October of 2022, I moved to Berks County and transitioned the business fully to this new area in September 2023.
Most people are surprised to know, that I do not have a dog of my own (see my cat in the above photo!). I simply LOVE animals of all kinds and have dedicated my life to better understanding them and helping others do the same.
I have experience working with animals through boarding facilities, doggie daycares and as a part-time educator at the Philly Zoo where I work 3-4 times a week. I continue to learn more everyday and am committed to staying up to date on the most effective and humane training techniques and methods.
